What this covers

This notice explains how RhinoInvestory handles data when you create an account, follow a company, or receive a company-alert email.

Data we use

For accounts and alerts, we process your email address, account identifier, followed companies, email preference, in-app notifications, and limited email-delivery records. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the basic account information required to sign you in.

Why we use it

We use this data to authenticate you, remember the companies you follow, show relevant new research in your account, and send an email when new independent research is added for a company you follow. Company alerts are not a general marketing newsletter.

Service providers

RhinoInvestory uses Supabase for authentication and database services, and Hostinger Mail for delivery of company-alert emails. Google processes sign-in data only when you select Google sign-in. These providers process data only to provide their relevant service.

Your choices

You can turn company-alert emails on or off, unfollow individual companies, or delete your account from My followed companies. Every company-alert email also includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops alerts for the companies named in that email; your other follows remain unchanged.

Retention and contact

We retain account and follow data while your account is active. Deleting your account removes its follows and notification history. Limited delivery records may be retained for as long as needed to keep the alert service reliable and secure. For privacy questions, contact hello@rhinoinvestory.com.
